Red State takes a big swing at Gibbs

Backing up our contention (see below) that Shelley Sekula Gibbs may have a lot of name ID, but most of it's negative, is this recent Red State report on Shelley's waffling record on the abortion issue. Apparently Shelley got nailed on the Pat Gray radio show -- then proceeded to dig in a little deeper when she spontaneously called in to respond...

I was at the Rose-Rich CD22 forum Monday night, and your right about only 10% of the guidance not being affiliated with one of the candidates. I was one of a few without a candidate badge on. I felt the format was very good and the flow was very brisk. I applaud those that put the forum on… they did a very good job.

I was undecided when I got there, although had read the profiles and positions of most the candidates. I walked away most impressed by Cynthia Dunbar and John Manlove, however not sure that either could win a primary and I really don’t understand the why Ms. Dunbar has entered into this race so late.

The big money seems to be with Shelley and Pete Olson, but in my option they both seem stiff and non approachable. Since I’m from Sugar Land, I’m looking into Harbacek more thoroughly, and based on what I have read thus far, will probably lean that direction in the future.
